Lanie...I have you in my thoughts and prayers. I know that there are going to be so many times that you will miss her it seems more at that particular time than another. It's so hard dealing with the loss of a parent that was also a friend...time does heal but know that the memories last forever in our hearts and that helps to soothe us when we need it most.
I lost my Dad January 2007 and then my mom went to be with him February 2007...so I understand.
I'm so sorry, Lanie! :( My prayers are with you today. My mom has appendix cancer and was given a prognosis of 24-48 months, but I am blessed to have her right now.
