I know, it's been a while. Crazy! Holidays and sicknesses. I so want to get back to a normal routine. But really what is normal anyway? :)

Friday Faves (10/22/10)

Now that the one year anniversary of Mom's passing has come and gone, I feel as if a little cloud has lifted. I won't be following the dates of major happenings anymore. For example, first birthday without Mom etc. I'll just carry her in my heart and talk about sweet memories now and again. Now it is time to create and do the things I love with all my heart. That is what Mom would want. So I joined an online art workshop and have slowly began my creative journey. I am looking forward to it.

Yes, I am quite aware it is Saturday. I have been knee deep in meet the teacher and all that pink stuff! I am quite looking forward to sharing Nikki's birthday party (which will be today) with you next week. Her special request of a pink flamingo theme has been quite interesting. I have never seen a little girl gravitate toward flamingos like she does. Pink, I can understand, but flamingos? It is so cute, she sees one and goes absolutely giddy with excitement.
